"Lifeline" Art From The Shadow

The first new business emerging in the area after the attack.

In the darkest hours of terror, artist Adi Drimer, started documenting the live chat from the Kibbutz Rei'm WhatsApp group while they were attacked.

Every detail about what people were hearing, feeling, and reporting, every cry for help, call for action, is documented in the order it was written. Using art to highlight a tragic moment in history, this beautiful piece captures a historical moment.

This initiative, operated by the community members, marks the first new business emerging in the area after the attack. The project gained significant attention, with the President of Israel inviting Adi and her 81-year-old mother, who spent 30 hours in the shelter and lost her best friend, to visit. Adi's mother was proud of her daughter, and the visit uplifted their spirits, giving them hope, strength, and pride.
